My Lizzie is a girly girl. Until she enters a competition. Then you see that twinkle in her eye and you know, she is ready for battle. It is one of the things I admire in her. I have confidence that she will do well in this world due to that instinct to hang in there and fight for what she wants.
This week's theme for Iheartfaces.com photo challenge is "pink". This photo is a favorite of mine because it shows the two contrasting sides of my daughter- her pretty pink girly hat & coat and that gleam in her eye ready to take on the competition. It always makes me smile.
First of all, your daughter is gorgeous! As for your photo, I love the contrast as well....the dirty colorful ball vs the girly colors and perfect skin. You really seemed to capture her personality (based on your description)...which is hard to do with our own kids who we see so wholly.
